Beautiful surroundings, nice pool area, next to the beach. Relaxing atmosphere. No noise around which was just what we needed for couple of days stay. Also there are very good restaurants and massages very close to the hotel. Good breakfast in a beautiful beach surrouding. Polite staff. This place is recommeded for those who seek quietness and relaxing.
room was pretty dark and smelled a bit mouldy..but it got better when the aircon was on. Several phone calls to the room which we never figured out what they were and cleaning lady was coming in very early in the morning without knocking the door, we found it very inpolite. Price/quality did not quite match considering the room itself.
Location is perfect, the hotel fits into the nature, a very good palle to relax, beautiful beach with yellow sand.
We stayed in the room no. 125, there was a litle bit loud from outside.
A First class hotel with an excellent service. The hotel has a nice pool area and a beautiful garden. A friendly and well trained staff that makes your holiday very pleasant.
Mukdara - the most beautiful hotel on this coast. First, we booked Ramada, but walking along the beach and seeing Mukdara, moved there. The hotel is beautiful and green area with lots of sculptures and fountains, spacious and elegant Thai style villas, a restaurant on the seafront with an excellent breakfast, beautiful spa ... Nearby Ramada and La Flora, which were more expensive and had good reviews can not even compare with Mukdara. You can also write a lot of good things about this hotel. If you choose another, then just be sorry.
For the price, an excellent hotel. wonderfull staff, very nice beach and very nice restaurant.
Could do an effort on the juices for the breakfast, sunbeds are taken pretty early by people just leaving their towels and going for breakfast or else.
We stayed here for the new year 2010/2011 and it was a good experience. Upon check in the room (Delux double room) had some issues and was upgraded right the way to a Villa without any problem. The hotel location is very good with easy access to some of the best restaurants in Khao Lak. Direct access to a nice and clean beach. Although crowded for the season, we didn't feel it and still had the privacy we looked for.
English communication with some staff wasa bit challenging but didn't impose a real problem at the outcome since staff are very willing to help in any way they can.
This is a rare opportunity to experience a Thai owned and Thai style truly luxury hotel. What a contrast to the other 'international' hotels in the vicinity. Here we had the traditional dark wood, temple rooves, fabulous tropical gardens as well as a huge pool surrounded by gardens below and an infinity pool above and more by the beach. The spa is relaxing and pretty, with excellent staff (we know as we had 32 massages there). Surprisingly, there was little additional price for eating in rather than the plentiful restaurants just outside. The manager and staff could not have been more friendly and helpful (sometimes also giggly!) We would love to return and, for us, it will always be in the low season where we value the mixture of sun, cloud and rain which gives us times for tours (must swim with elephants!!) as well as downtime without fear of burning. The mocha mocktails at happy hour in the pool will always be remembered (16 for the 8 of us!)
The deluxe villa was incredible. Lots of amenities. The breakfast was delicious and different every day. The grounds were gorgeous and well kept. The staff was very friendly and helpful.Lots of nearby restaurants and little shops. 2 beautiful national forests nearby with lots of waterfalls. Minibike rentals nearby. Thank you Mukdara staff for making our trip such a memorable one. We will definitely be back!! Please keep those low off season rates.
I wish there had been a reduced rate vehicle for transfers to the airport. The beach wasn't accessible because of a previous storm and that was a disappointment but also wasn't the resort's fault. I wish we could have used the beach pool at night. It would also have been neat to have had an open air beach view place for inexpensive massages. Truly, it is difficult to think of any complaints because our trip was close to perfect.
The hotel territory is very beautiful and romantic. We have found a lot of lotus ponds and sculptures and bridges. Garden villa is spacious and luxurious. Also there is a lot of facilities like tennis court, table tennis, fitness room and kids zone, so you will not be bored even at rainy season. Just outside the hotel there are exchange service, shops, some nice restaurants and bars. Hotel staff is very friendly.
We were staying in a rainy season so there were problems with the beach. It was quite destroyed. Also on low tide there is a lot of rubbish comes from the sea, but no one cleans it. The same for all nearby hotels, maybe it is normal, but it is not very pleasant to walk through stones and bottles(
The staff was friendly/efficient. Location was great: private beach + nearby shops/restaurants.
The room, dark and dreary. Felt aged and smaller than a few other places that I stayed at nearby previously.
Vorteil: Bewussten Umgang! Das ist meine pers. Meinung.
Alle transporte waren gut und on time organisiert.
Zimmer teilweise etwas muffig. Sehr gütes Frühstückbuffet.
